Open Source Identity System: This graphic identity system was created for VMware-originated open source projects. It supports the values of the open source community—flexibility, freedom, and innovation—allowing creative leeway in the naming and development of graphic identities while maintaining consistent treatment across projects, which helps form a distinct and recognizable VMware presence in open source. They are used on Github, open source community, promotional materials, event materials and branded merchandise.
Contributions: Concept development, design lead, established and maintained the open source projects identity system. Engaged closely with multiple open source project leads. Each graphic identity was created based on the software's functionality and uniqueness, using either an illustrative or abstract approach.
